Hooray for Jackson, MS St Paddy's Day Parade
For this past weekend we enjoyed St. Paddy's Day parade in a wonderful 86 degrees in Jackson, MS. Seventy thousand Mississippians (for the day at least) screaming for beads, dodging beads, drinking, dancing, and celebrating the warm weather with family and friends, because "That's What I Like About the South" (2012 theme). Any reason to have a Party.

We enjoyed the day on the Reservoir, motoring by pontoon boat to Pelican Cove Grill for their Grilled Shrimp basket, Mississippi's finest, Southern Pecan - Lazy Magnolia Beer, and great music. Staff was on short supply since we waited way too long.

Now the rain is here and cooling us down, but seriously 35 in El Paso...

Enjoy your Vernal Equinox. More daylight hours for sailing after work, not that the lack of daylight ever stopped us before.
