Sailing Santa is Coming to H-Town Nov. 17

Sailing Santa, Saint Arnold's newest beer, a blend of the Elissa (India Pale Ale) and the Christmas ale, set sail (for sale) on November 17. Hooray for Saint Arnolds... only 3600 cases of 12, 22 oz. bottles (bombers).

Update: The brew master informed me that as they do for all Elissa IPA beer,
Saint Arnold is donating a portion of the proceeds of this beer to the Galveston Historical District for the ship.
We are devout followers of Saint Arnold with over 12 pint glasses collected at the many Pub crawls. Our golden retriever even completed one in Midtown (all 4 punches on her ticket), and got her own Saint Arnolds pint glass that she carried home in her backpack.

This beer will have great resonance with us besides the sailing part. The Saint Arnold's Christmas Ale is my all time favorite beer, and my first Elissa IPA was after we finished our first day volunteering on the Elissa a few months before we were married on the Elissa back in '04. This beer was drank at the now departed Fullen's Waterwall where the Elissa volunteer crew used to go for beer and burgers.

This beer is when we return from a cold day sailing in Galveston Bay, bundled up in layers. Our cold cheeks and noses need to be warmed up by the wonderful flavors from the Christmas Ale and the Elissa blend.

Remember the Elissa needs our help and money to fix its hull. Read its website to find out why "IKE" continued to eat away at the Elissa.
